Precision helical inserts are available in both locking and free-running varieties. Most of these inserts are available in up to 5 different lengths. The standard material for these inserts is 18-8 stainless steel, but they are also available in several other materials. These materials include Phosphor-Bronze, Inconel X750, Nitronic 60 and 316 stainless steel. These inserts can also be plated or coated in Dry-Film Lube, Silver, Cadmium, or a Primer-Free coating. Our inserts are DFARS compliant and conform to military or aerospace specifications when applicable.
